“In early December, my mother was finishing a two-month stay at the geriatric institute for rehabilitation after a fall. The institute determined that my mother required more care than what her previous residence could provide. I needed to find an appropriate residence for her. The people working at the institute suggested Visavie. It was a very difficult and stressful time in my life – I had to find a place in a very short time (the institute only wanted to keep her for one more week) and move her belongings from one residence to another. She asked the right questions and took good notes in case we needed the information later. She was well-organized. I think one of the qualities I appreciated most about Stéphanie was her empathy.
