In early December, my mother was finishing a two-month stay at a geriatric care facility for rehabilitation following a fall. The facility determined that my mother needed more care than her previous residence could provide. So I had to find her a suitable residence. The staff at the facility suggested Visavie. It was a difficult and stressful time in my life—I had to find a place very quickly (the facility would only keep her for one more week) and I had to move her belongings from one residence to another. Stéphanie gave me confidence that this could be done. We had a one-on-one meeting at my home. On another occasion, we went to see my mother so she could meet her and get a sense of her needs and abilities. After that, Stéphanie arranged meetings with three residences over two days. Stéphanie made things much easier for me during these meetings. I visited the care homes with my mother and Stéphanie. Stéphanie had a very good rapport with the care home managers. She asked questions and took thorough notes in case we needed the information later. She was well-organized. I think one of the qualities I appreciated most about Stéphanie is her empathy. She showed that she cared about getting the best possible outcome. She was respectful and understanding toward my mother. I think Stéphanie Delage is an asset to this company. She made my job much easier and helped me choose the perfect place for my mother.

To me, Ms. Delage has become like a second mother. We spent six months looking for the right place for my mother to live. For every obstacle, she found a solution. She was a friend, a mentor, and a source of support for me during that difficult time. The result: a mother who is happy living in her new home and who has adjusted more quickly than expected.
